What data we process and why

Project enquiries and quotations. If you contact us, we receive the information you provide, such as your name, company name, email address or phone number, project scope and message. When you ask us to take steps before entering into a contract with you, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. If you write on behalf of an organisation or contact us about something else, the legal basis is our legitimate interest in handling correspondence (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Website operation and security. Technical logs may include your IP address, request time, the address of the requested resource, the response status and browser information. We use this information to diagnose errors, maintain the site and keep it secure (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Legal claims and obligations. Where necessary, we retain data to establish, exercise or defend legal claims (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) or to comply with a legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR).

Providing personal data in an enquiry is voluntary. We cannot respond without contact details. The calculator runs in your browser. When you select “Send enquiry”, the form details and estimate summary are sent through our server to contact@ss8.eu. The website does not create a separate enquiry database. To limit spam, it keeps a hashed IP address and an attempt counter for up to 10 minutes after the last attempt in a series. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in protecting the form (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Selecting “Copy enquiry” copies the text to your device’s clipboard.

Recipients and retention

Authorised ITPARK staff and our IT infrastructure and email providers may access data as necessary to provide their services. We may disclose data to public authorities if required by law. If you use an external email service, your provider handles data under its own terms.

We retain correspondence while we deal with your enquiry. If we need it to exercise or defend legal claims, we retain it until the relevant limitation period expires. Where the law requires us to keep data, we retain it for the period specified by law. Technical logs follow our log rotation schedule. After a security incident, we may keep the relevant records to investigate it or defend legal claims.

Your rights

You may ask us to provide access to, rectify or erase your data, or restrict its processing. Where the GDPR conditions are met, you have the right to portability of data processed by automated means on the basis of a contract. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests. The calculator’s estimate is for information only. We do not use it to profile you or to make decisions with legal effects on you.

Cookies and browser storage

The public pages of ss8.pl do not use analytics or advertising cookies. The calculator does not store data in cookies or persistent browser storage. WordPress may use essential cookies on the login screen and for signed-in users to check cookie support, remember the login language and maintain the session. You can delete or block these cookies in your browser. Blocking cookies may prevent you from signing in.
